Man Utd versus Brighton – Premier League Updates

Preamble

The Red Devils, after defeating Sunderland and Liverpool, look to make it a trio of victories straight tonight. Confidence is high under Ruben Amorim now more than ever!

Only problem is, the opposing team are the Seagulls, who have won on each of their last three trips at Manchester United’s home, plus six out of seven fixtures between the clubs.

Despite United’s form; for the Seagulls it’s been a breeze. Nevertheless, the visitors are also famously erratic as their hosts, making this match competing and maybe thrilling to watch.

The match begins at 5.30pm BST and we say this for the last time in a while as the clocks go back this evening, everyone. It’s on!

Selection Changes

United decided on a couple of alterations following last week’s victory away to Liverpool. Benjamin Šeško comes in for Mason Mount, who drops to the bench, and the match-winner Maguire is absent entirely, Leny Yoro taking his place in defense.

Maguire picked up an injury during training this week. Malacia makes the squad among the substitutes in 2025-26.

Brighton have made a single switch following victory at home against the Magpies. Likely a defensive move, bringing in De Cuyper replacing Gómez, who drops to the bench.

Danny Welbeck, formerly of United to win the Premier League in 2012-13, visits his old club with great momentum scoring four in three, one more than he’d managed from 15 prior games.

Build-Up

Ruben Amorim doesn’t much care about the views of the Reds’ manager … yet Welbeck is mindful with the thought processes of Thomas Tuchel.

Analysts have noted that this match might affect for both teams’ seasons during the league unfolds.

Ones to watch are the captain in red plus Welbeck in blue and white, both in fine form in recent weeks.
